The Story Behind Bibido
As a parent of two preschoolers, I found myself questioning the education system we've inherited. The turning point came when I watched Shen Xincheng's talk "The abilities filtered out by exam-oriented education have become unimportant in the AI era."
This insight struck a chord. For generations, our education system has trained children to excel at memorization and mathematical computation—skills that AI can now perform instantly and flawlessly. Meanwhile, the truly essential human capabilities—creativity, resilience, collaboration, ethical reasoning—have been sidelined as "nice to have" rather than fundamental.
The education system will eventually transform, but that change takes time. Our children can't wait. They're growing up now, in a world where AI is already reshaping every industry, every career, every aspect of life.
